This policy explains what information umarsaleemdev.com collects when you use the site, why it's collected, and how it's handled. This site is operated by Umar Saleem as a personal portfolio and business site. It's written in plain language and describes the site's actual technical setup — it isn't a substitute for legal advice.

Contact and project inquiry forms (on /contact and /services): name, email address, subject or service type, project details or message, and optionally a budget range. This is sent directly to Umar Saleem to respond to your inquiry — it is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Waitlist form (on /store): email address only, used to notify you when a product or ebook becomes available.

Form submissions are delivered by email using Nodemailer via Gmail SMTP as the primary method, with Resend available as a fallback delivery service. Submitting a form sends two emails: one notifying Umar Saleem of your inquiry, and one confirming to you that it was received. These providers process the message only to deliver it — they are not used to build advertising profiles.

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand general traffic and usage patterns (pages visited, approximate location, device type, referral source). Google Analytics sets its own cookies and is governed by Google's privacy policy, linked above.

The site embeds or links to a small number of third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Calendly — the /book page embeds a Calendly scheduling widget. Booking a call is handled directly by Calendly under Calendly's privacy policy.
• YouTube — video pages may embed YouTube players, governed by Google's privacy policy.
• Google Analytics — see above.

Form submissions are kept only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry or fulfil a waitlist notification, and are not used for any purpose beyond that without your consent.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any information you've submitted through this site by emailing [email protected]. Requests are handled on a reasonable-effort basis.

This site is not directed at children under 13, and no information is knowingly collected from children.
